Who We Are
The Great Fourteen Welfare Society is a voluntary, non-profit welfare society formed by retired officers commissioned through the 14th Officers Training School (OTS) Course on 6 December 1984 — one of Pakistan Army’s proudest batches, known simply as “14th The Great.”
203 officers were commissioned in that historic cohort. Across the decades, the bonds forged at the OTS have never weakened. Today, 183 surviving course mates — spread across Pakistan and beyond — remain united in fellowship, mutual support, and a shared commitment to the welfare of each other and our families.
The Society formalises this spirit of brotherhood into an enduring institution — transparent, accountable, and built to last beyond any individual.
Why We Exist
Life brings moments of joy and moments of hardship. When a course mate faces illness, loss, or difficulty — or when a son or daughter achieves a milestone — the 14th The Great stands together. Our Society exists to ensure that no course mate or their family ever stands alone.
What We Do
Need-based grants for medical emergencies, hospitalisation, and genuine hardship — disbursed with dignity and care.
Scholarships for the children of course mates, with priority for families of deceased officers and those in financial need.
An Annual Get-Together every December — celebrating our bonds and remembering those no longer with us.
Marriage grants, funeral assistance, and ongoing support for the widows and families of our departed course mates.

Our Story
It began on 6 December 1984, when 203 young officers took their oaths and stepped into service. In the decades that followed, our course mates served at every level of Pakistan’s armed forces — on frontlines, in staff appointments, and in service to the nation.
Through the years, a Course Fund was built — contribution by contribution — as a practical expression of our commitment to each other. That fund, now formalised as the The Great Fourteen Welfare Society, is our collective legacy: a living institution that will serve course mates and their families for generations to come.
